Spice Up Your Mind !

Cells have life span. Our body continously produce new cells to replace old ones that dies. However, scientists consider unicellular organisms to be immortal. Why ?

Answer :
When unicellular organism divides, the life to the single mother cell becomes part of the life of two new daughter cells. So, as long as an unicellular species continues to live, so does the life of the original cells.
