Cell division consists of :

1. Mitosis
2. Meiosis

MITOSIS

The process of nuclear division which results in the formation of two genetically daughter nuclei.

MEIOSIS

The process of nuclear division that reduces the number of chromosomes in daughter cells to half that of parent cell.
